In the production process of CMC, since the raw material consists of solid fibers and the reaction proceeds under high-viscosity, heterogeneous conditions, conventional stirring equipment is completely inadequate for the task.

1. Solving the challenge of "fiber swelling and penetration" (alkalization stage)

Intense shearing: The two ∑-shaped blades of CMC sigma blade mixer generate immense shear forces through differential rotation, effectively "loosening and shredding" the tightly bound fiber bundles.

Forces extrusion: Much like kneading dough, CMC sigma blade mixer forcibly presses the alkaline solution into the interstitial spaces of the fibers, thereby ensuring that the alkalization reaction proceeds synchronously at the molecular level.

2. Solving the challende of "thermal runaway" (etherification stage)

High-efficiency heat exchange structure: CMC sigma blade mixer's cylinder features a fully enveloping jacket.

Agitator cooling technology: For high-grade CMC production, the agitator bladdes themselves ar hollow; circulating cooling water flows through their interiors to directly extract heat from within the material, thereby achieving dual internal and external temperature control and safeguarding the integrity of the molecular chains.

3. Resolving transparency issues caused by "uneven substitution"

Dead-angle-free kneading: A minimal clearance of only 2-3mm is maintained between the mixing paddles and the mixing cylinder.

Repeated folding: The material within the cylinder is continuously turned over and folded in both axial and radial directions. This high-intensity mechanical kneading ensures the uniform distribution of substituent groups, resulting in CMC with excellent water solubility and a clear, transparent solution.

4. Solving the challenge of discharging and cleaning high-viscosity materials

Hydraulic tilting: The cylinder body can be tilted between 95° and 110°, utilizing gravity to achieve rapid discharge.

Screw extrusion: Some CMC sigma blade mixers are equipped with integrated discharge screw at the bottom of the cylinders, which forcibly extrudes high-viscosity materials — much like squeezing toothpaste from a tube. This mechanism not only ensures rapid discharge but also simultaneously breaks the material down into smaller chunks, thereby facilitating subsequent washing and drying processes.

Materials: All parts in contact with the product are constructed entirely from SS304 or SS316L stainless steel, with the inner walls finished to a #400 mirror polish.
