1. Why discharge decides the efficiency of the whole line

Materials handled by a sigma mixer are typically high-viscosity, semi-solid or paste-like. At those viscosities, tilting discharge is rarely complete: residue clings to the blades and cylinder walls, batch-to-batch consistency suffers, and the workshop pays for it in lost material and extra cleaning time.

A side-mounted extrusion screw changes that logic. Instead of relying on gravity and tilting angle, the screw positively conveys the compound out of the chamber—emptying the mixer more completely and delivering material at a rate that downstream equipment can actually keep up with.

The shaft is machined to a streamlined ∑ profile with a cast steel body faced in SS304/316, a ground shaft seal and a polished blade surface; sealing uses composite PTFE packing. Every detail serves one goal—consistent mixing batch after batch, and clean release of the material when the batch is finished.
