In the food and functional confectionery industry, chewing gum production places extremely high demands on mixing equipment: the materials are highly viscous, elastic and prone to sticking to the walls, while strict hygiene standards and uniform mixing requirements must be met.
A food research institution, while conducting testing on a new chewing gum formula, selected our 5L laboratory sigma mixer as its core mixing equipment.
This sigma mixer employs a high-precision ∑-shaped blade design, with the gap between the blade and the cylinder controlled at 2-3mm. This effectively avoids material residue and localized overheating, ensuring that raw materials such as sugar bases, gum bases, and flavorings can still be fully kneaded even at high viscosity. The entire machine is made of food-grade stainless steel with a polished inner surface, meeting the stringent hygiene and cleanliness requirements of the food research and development stage.
